Partnerships

HP Activities is community-focused and thus has built strong partnerships with various organizations to promote and facilitate sports and physical activities in the local community. With Cumbria Cricket (CC), HP Activities supports the development of cricket and provides inclusive opportunities for children to participate in both competitively and non competitively across the county. We also work with Lords Taverners, which is committed to enhancing the lives of young people through cricket, to deliver programs that improve social inclusion and physical health.

We are currently delivering a SEND programme within schools/ educational settings which is aimed at those with disabilities aged between 12-25, enabling them to play both table cricket and softball. Hannah also organises the Table Cricket County competition which takes place annually.

Another program we run with lord taverners is called Super 1s. This is a disability Cricket session that takes place out of school time. Again it is aimed at 12-25 year olds and this gives these people the cancer to play in a community setting, it also focuses on individuals personal development.

We are also involved in supporting the following sessions that run throughout the year- Girls MCC hub, All stars, dynamos, comets and Ladies Softball.

We also work with Cumbria Cricket delivering a holiday programme over the summer holidays, providing lots of different activities for children to take part in during the school break.
